Q: How many people can your venue hold?
A: 120 people max capacity.
Q: Do we have to use your catering?
A: Yes, you must use our catering. No outside catering is allowed.
Q: Do you provide the cake?
A: No. You must find a licensed baker for your cake or other sweets.
Q: Do we get to keep the food you serve for the buffet at our event?
A: No. We serve buffet style; guests can eat all they want during dinner time. You pay per serving and the cost includes other things like drinks, champagne, cake cutting, and other items all wrapped up into the cost per plate.
Q: Do you provide decorations?
A: No, we do not. You are responsible for your flowers & decorations.
Q: What do you provide for the wedding day that we wouldn’t have to rent?
A: Table and chairs for up to 120 people. White linen tablecloths and napkins. Tableware and glassware.
Q: Do you provide a bar and bartender?
A: A cash bar and bartender are included at no extra cost. A cash bar is where your guests buy their alcohol. If you want an open bar where guests drink for free all night, you must pay for the alcohol your guests consume.
Q: How late do your receptions go?
A: The latest we will go is 11 pm. We do not offer extra hours past 11 pm.
Q: Can we have outside alcohol at the property?
A: No. All alcohol at the wedding must come from our bar. The only areas you may have outside alcohol are your cabin and private lawn/deck areas. If you are in or near your cabin you may have your own alcohol. If you are in the main Heritage Lodge, the office, the gift shop, the pool, the barn, or the game room you may NOT have your own alcohol there. Don’t forget your ID for the bar!
Q: Can we have a horse and carriage entrance?
A: Yes, pricing will vary.
Q: Do you plan my wedding?
A: No, you will still have to plan your wedding. We help with timelines, vendors on the day of, food, set up, and break down. You will still have to plan your wedding and may even want a day coordinator for more detailed work.
Q: Do you have vegetarian, gluten-free, or vegan options?
A: Yes. Some options on our menu can be gluten-free. We also have vegetarian and vegan options. Please note that pasta CANNOT come gluten-free.
Q: How many people can the Ranch hold overnight?
A: Around 65 guests can stay overnight on the Ranch, assuming max capacity in each unit.
Q: Can you store my wedding cake?
A: No. We will not store your wedding cake (or cupcakes, pies, or cookies) for any amount of time before OR after your wedding. This is a liability we will not take on for you or your baker, your baker should drop off the cake within the appropriate time of consumption. We highly recommend you work with a local baker who has time in their day to provide you with the correct drop-off time.
Q: What happens if there is adverse weather?
A: Being an outdoor wedding venue in Colorado means there are lots of “Plan Bs”. Colorado is known for passing rain and snow showers. Wait five minutes, and the sun will come out! If not, no worries! The Heritage Lodge offers an inspiring alternative for a last-minute change in plans.
