THINGS TO NOTE

S.D.R. CATERING

  • Our Small Kitchen

    • The chef at the Ranch leads our catering kitchen. Our small kitchen is all from scratch, with organic and local ingredients when possible. This means we can accommodate food allergies with advance notice. We can offer gluten-free options for most things on the menu (the noodles cannot come gluten-free).

    • The kitchen is a catering kitchen it is not a restaurant. There is no open dining room for you to order food at any time.

    • It is important to remember that if you want food provided for any of your guests you will have to pay and turn numbers in for what items you want at least 30 days before you arrive on Ranch.

  • Buffet Style

    • We do serve Buffet style (meaning we serve an all-you-can-eat buffet but you do not take food home - just like a buffet restaurant or a casino buffet).

  • Breakfasts

    • We do serve breakfast for any overnight guest automatically.

    • If you have guests who would like to join but didn’t stay on the property, they may. You will need to provide us a count for those folks who are joining us from off the property & they will pay for breakfast.

IMPORTANT ITEMS TO REMEMBER

Key items to remember in your planning process.

  • Dessert

    • Your cake or dessert must come from a licensed baker for liability reasons with insurance & must be dropped off within the appropriate time of consumption.

  • Alcohol

    • We do not accept special alcohol orders.

    • All alcohol served at rehearsal and reception is ranch choice and must be purchased through us.

    • Please remind your guests to bring an ID if they would like to drink!

    • You may have whatever alcohol you’d like at your cabins; just not at the ceremony, in the main lodge, on the back deck, or in the pool area.

  • No Ice Machine for Guests

    • Please remind your guests to bring ice for their coolers if they bring some. With many events back-to-back, filling one cooler could mean the ice machine may not catch up for your reception.

    • All the cabins have a mini fridge and all guest houses have a fridge to help keep your drinks cold.

“DUE DATES”

  • Lodging opens to the Public 2 Weeks Before the Wedding.

  • The Outline is due 8 Weeks Before the Wedding.

  • Your final count is due 30 days before your wedding, after the final count is given, it cannot be changed.

  • The Agenda is completed by your coordinator and it will be returned to you 1 Month Before the Wedding.

  • The CADS or floorplan diagrams are completed by your coordinator and will be returned to you 1 Month Before the Wedding.

  • If you’d like to schedule a wrap-up Call or final walk-through, we recommend doing it 4-3 Weeks from the Wedding.

  • Your balance is due 10 days before the wedding.

A LITTLE EXTRA

Items that can be added to your invoice to make the experience that much better.

  • Wedding Night Campfire, ON US!

    • We will have it stocked & ready for you to light. You will have to light the campfire & keep it going. We provide the space & the wood. 2 Hours’ worth of wood. NO SMORES included. Add on a campfire for rehearsal dinner.
